Spring
If
you’d been through the sub soi of Sukhumvit soi 49
to soi39 you will see this landmark that’s Spring.
The ~ 20 year old house was design by Sumet Chumsai
then recently converted to a restaurant as we see
it today. Khun Pol Thantastien the owner wanted to
start the restaurant as an alternative to his acting
career. The ambiance is quite and casual, maybe a
good place for a date.
If you like Thai spice try the “Namprik makam fried rice” and the “the spicy Mango salad with deep fried salmon” an adaptation of a Thai traditional dish which uses “pla sumlee” a different type of fish.
Open daily from 11.00 a.m. - 14.30 and 17.30 - 23.00 p.m.
